Gas lamps

The gas lamps have now had their annual maintenance - and most of them are alight again! You may notice that some of the lamps are on in the daytime as well - this is due to the internal switches needing replacing. This is the next phase of the project. The council will need to look at costing options before this can be addressed by a phased introduction of replacement switches.

There are also a couple of lamps not working in Holywell Road - the council is waiting costs for refurbishment of these two and then we can get these two re-lit as well.
